The Northern Program refers to the Alberta Breast Cancer Program as it applies to residents of Northern Alberta. Geographically, the Northern Program stretches approximately north of Red Deer to the northern border of Alberta. Most population centres that are in this zone fall under the care of the Nothern Program. The Centre of the Northern Program is the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton.
